I finally got my continuous ski from Columbia Crest to the Nisqually River Bridge yesterday. Not the best conditions I've ever had, but plenty good enough for a man of modest skiing abilities. I got to the top via the Nisqually Icefall.

Best weekend weather I can remember in March, too. :D

Edited the title lest anything think I skied the Nisqually Icefall. Not this time :)
Just read your full report on your blog. Great write-up. Thanks!

No one of modest skiing abilities skis off the summit of Rainier.  Brilliant job.

Nice report Loren. 10,600 vf of skiing is a whopper. Had it been me, I would have taken my skis off after around 7,000 vf and walked for a while just to remember what it was like.

Congratulations Loren !  Awesome !

Excellent Loren!  Impressive and well done.  Chapeau bas.
