March 24, 2013, Baker Table South and North

Did a wonderful tour today up around the South side of Table Mtn then up and over the ridge and down the NE aspect of Table west of the horn. Our early start made the skin around S side of table on the route toward Coleman Pinnacle rock solid, but per photos point releases had come down on S aspects, likely Saturday PM. Also there was one big slab visible on an E exposure below the route to the pinnacle.

We were going to go around to the lakes and up Herman saddle, but it increasingly looked and felt like we would see alot of breakable suncrust, so opted to follow a sweet ski track up and over table, and dropped in over the NE. That snow was very nice settled powder. Split fest attendees had carved things up pretty well, but we still found some some nice scraps.
