A gaggle of us cruised a variation on the Chair loop. Good skiing in the shade, skiable zipper+ crust on SW aspects. Lots of small sun-driven plops/sluff in the alpine. Anything sunny will have a real crust Sunday?
Edit for photos. Thanks everyone for a great day!

Prior to noon every aspect except for SW skied well, afterward staying north of west was still great 8-14" fluff, on open slopes and in trees. Perfectly calm weather and warm sun was very nice at mid-day on the ridge crest, even though the official temperature was only 27, wow.

We saw a rescue-looking helicopter head north from I-90 over ~Low/Granite and continue northward out of sight at perhaps 11 am.
Anyone have an associated story? I'd like to think that they were out enjoying the beautiful day!
