spring conditions have arrived with the first warm-up of the season. The snowpack starts at 7,500 and gets considerably deeper the higher you go, due to the warm storms we got in Dec. There was very little snowfall in Jan. and Feb., as the storms we did get had low moisture. The corn snow should be good through May for the Sierra. A sidenote, I looked at Mt Lassen's snow measurement and there is an 11 foot base (that is fairly consolidated) due to the clear weather we've had.
