It was a long day for Josh, Mike, and myself. The approach was a mixture of impenetrable melt-freeze crusts and slide paths. The bottom half of the couloir wasn't much better. We were able to find some good turns in the top 1/3 of the col! I posted a trip report on my blog with more pictures and a video from the descent. link to blog post
The Black Hole is an incredible line with spectacular views of Glacier Peak. It's worth checking out if you are up for a long day, though hopefully you find a bit more good snow than we did!
