Since I've missed too many ski trips listening to weather guys, we were determinned to find skiing today despite the wet forecast.  Stefan also had an urgent need to test drive his new Jak BCs.  We did have occasional showers, but we had a small sucker-hole above us most of the day, enough to wear sunglasses anyway.  It snow-showered near the 8700' summit, but the upper steep slopes were nice and curvable down the the lower ridge.  We saw three other skiers on the ridge going down.  Got drizzled on hiking out, and raining at the car.  Skiing was good, and Stefan really likes his new skis.  Ruth will be in good shape for a while.
