Thanks to reports from yesterday, we headed up in the great weather today.  Ridgetops appeared breezy at 9AM, but Commonweath valley was nice, sunny, and quiet. 10-12" nice dry powder above 4200'.  By noon  south slopes had dampened and slid easily under ski cuts.  West slopes stayed nice and dry until later.  Unfortunately knee pain kept me from summiting, but the youngsters reported fine conditions all the way with a bit of care, and did some extra laps.  Above 5000' most of yesterday's tracks had been filled in by the wind, which gradually increased as time passed.

Sorry to here about the knee pain Silas, too much lift served for you.

Sounds great Silas, glad you got the goods as well as the visibility that was absent on Sunday!

Nice! It was interesting to see the extra run.  The boot back out looked tough, but well worth it I'm sure.

Looked like fun video. I've only been up there in the summer.
