We decided against skiing anything steep Saturday so we spent the day slogging through low angle mush.  Despite feeling that slides were pretty unlikely, the consequences of that much weight moving convinced us that playing it safe was a good idea.  We didn't climb the final stretch to the upper ridge top out, but we could see where parts of the cornices above the bowl had fallen without entraining anything below.  The skiing was pretty marginal, deep saturated mush.  The high point was probably the Rhodies stop on the way home.
Way to ruin it for all of us. Rhoadies is my secret stash! :->
Viva el Karl Fardman!

No need to worry, sheep are herbivores. :D

It has been said that this site doesn't cater to wolves, but just in case:  Rhodies is the 468th exit before N Bend, take a right and it is in the gas station on the right.

Sorry JD

pepper jack mac n cheese, one evening I was starving.
I was so happy they were still open

Thanks for the report. I love the decision-making and rationale. With choices like that you're always gonna live to eat another day!
