Andy, John and myself headed off to Rainier thinking that there would be good pow - we were aware of the avy conditions as we thought about where to ski.  The gate didn't open until 10:15am and we headed up to Paradise to see what awaited, fog across the whole area so off to Tatoosh Range expecting conditions to be slightly clearer.  Up out of Narada Falls skinning amongst the trees we reached Reflection Lakes and up to Castle Saddle.  Along the way we did not see any natural avalanches, nor were we did we see any other signs of poor avy conditions - at the Saddle we skied down and tried a couple of different lower angle lines below - it was actually a pretty nice day all in all - no one else out and as we came down the Narada face it's probably the only time our tracks were the only three there! - In reading the posts from Sunday elsewhere it was clearly a dangerous day, while we managed risk we didn't see any signs of avy about.
