Susan and I poked around near the pass in preparation for a WAC class tomorrow. All aspects but E, elevations from pass level to 5k.

Most-reactive was a layer 6-8" down at all elevations, running as loose sluffs. The bond 18-24" down sometimes failed on test slopes/track corners at 1-2 hops, Q1-2.  Propagation very limited. Friends nearby had columns fail on isolation on W open slopes near 5k at 33 cm and at 80 cm. - big whumph followed their decision to retreat.

Skiing was good to excellent, especially above 4k. Mind sluffs on steep slopes- top 6" ran easily. Tree wells getting hungry.

Sunbreaks were a nice surprise in early afternoon.
