Between 9am and 2pm today it snowed pretty hard and constantly on our tour up Silver Fir to Grand Junction and on to Radio Mountain. We found 16" of light powder sliding somewhat on a firm base on northeast to northwest slopes between 3400-4400'. Warming temperatures or much more snow might make backcountry travel more dangerous tomorrow.
