David and I spent the last day of the long weekend yoyoing in our backyard.  Had great skiing on upper 1500' both North and South slopes.  Light 6~10" new on a dense layer, stable except a small wind-loaded patch on a steepish rollover.  Aki, a Shepard mix, did great today, going down almost as fast. Hiked out the bottom 1000'.  Much less snow at the low elevation compared to the Annett Lk TH across HWY.
It was awesome skiing that day! We couldn't leave without getting one more run!

Here's a picture of Kenji and Aki.

Did you guys ski the NW slope down to the unnamed lake or the North slope?  I have never skied the north down to the Tuscohatchies.  The NW slope is pretty cool, though a bit of a double fall line.  A beautiful exploration none the less.

A NW slope up/down to Pratt Lake and out on the trail was one option we considered, but skiing was too good to pass a 2nd run down the N slope and then the S.  Maybe the next time.
