We were surprised by a cool, clear morning with nice dry 10" powder. The sun made a bit of a crust on south slopes and a northwest wind crusted that aspect above 5000'. Superb fresh tracks could be made with good route selection, alpine skis, or skilled technique.

Good to run into you up there, Silas ("mr gnarly", haha). Fantastic day at sno-quality! Compelling enough for Muir regulars, even. Imagine it's still quite good on shaded aspects...lucky retirees.

Did you find a blue skin there? I lost one of mine on Sunday and rumor has it someone on here found it but I can't find the post...
