Finished up a solid week in the sun busting out some serious road miles. It is hard to resist riding the road bike especially when you have a new toy
Should have taken a rest day but 20cms of fresh on the Coquihalla was too much to resist.
Bright and early on Sunday we hit the falls lake area. The new snow was sitting on a firm crust probably from sun earlier in the week only 2 other parties in the Nak basin. The limited visibility prevented us from getting up higher into the alpine but we managed to find some fast fun skiing regardless.
It felt like spring out there this week lots of signs of melt out in the pillow fields. It could be the year to get after the longer traverses and some of those spring crown jewel lines.
