Missed the Muir race, but we got some skiing in.  They opened the White River gate earlier this year.  As usal, there was no gate attendent.  The snow coverage is very good from the Whitman Crest down to the bridge at Summer Land, but not much skiing on the tail below this year.   We took an extra 1500' run from the crest toward the drainage to East.  The snow was prety good overall, though it could be better-corned.

The skiing should be good for a while.  Sunrise looked in good shape, and Ruth/Inter Gl as well, of course.
Kenji, what day did they open the White River gate?

When I checked their website Sat eve, it indicated the gate open.  I think they just opened it Saturday (4/30).  We saw two shoers, but no ski tracks.

Someone got in Friday according to:

Lttle Tahoma in the afternoon clouds.  We skied near the left edge in the photo (forgot to include it ;D)
