FEb 17 , 2013 MT Rainier Paradise Mazama ridge

Well, Skiing was quite good and stable with 4" of fresh cold powder. Cloudy sky
Skiers were Amy ,Dave , Ken, Mike, Jeff who is merely Amy's dad ,and  Robie .We skied kinda all over the place as usual. Some mellow some steep. What wasn't usual was Amy. She not only kept up on her first time on AT gear but didn't blink or fall even on the steeper slopes. Amy Holden is eleven.  Maybe some pictures will show here.
Don't hesitate to go tomorrow if you get the chance

So skiing at Paradise on a Wednesday is OK if you have a time-travel machine?   Smiley

Hmmm, I better change that date or I'll get a lot of time travellers mixed up!

Original date mistake was Feb 27 shoould have read 17th

Way to go bringing the younger generation into the fold! Twenty years from now, we'll need all the young friends we can get to help push our walkers up to the top of the hill and strap us into our skis and point them downhill for us.
