WA Cascades West Slopes South (Mt Rainier)

a.k.a. (in summer): Skyline Trail, clockwise.
Above the clouds all day. Sunburned in February. It probably would have been a pretty good day even if the snow hadnt been so good.
Climbed to Panorama Point comfortably (in short sleeves), thanks to a smooth multi-use track and a good set of steps up the hill. Plenty of snowshoers about, but not too crowded.
Upper reaches of P Point were wind-packed, as was the long descending traverse across upper Edith Creek basin. Then mostly good snow down low. Skiing moderately steep, moderately heavy SE aspect at midday generated sizable pinwheels; other aspects held good powder.
