6-8 inches of cold powder under bluebird skies Friday. Heavy hoar frost. Very good skiing on supportive crust on northern exposures and sheltered zones for the duration. Breakable crust forming on southern aspects in the later part of the day made for some challenging turns!

Different story Saturday as we encountered light rain at 5200  followed by fog, poor visibility, and wet snow.

When it freezes it's going to be rough.

Sunday was a much welcomed change from Saturdays dreariness with blue skies and excellent visibility. We were pleasantly surprised the warm temps and rain hadn't totally ruined the snow for turns. We encountered a soft 1/4 inch crust with hoar above 6 to 8 inches of sugar on northern aspects and intense sunshine softened it up enough for silky smooth turns on steep southerlies in the pm!

Two out of three ain't bad!
Holy Cow!  That sky looks beautiful.  Glad you found the sun.  We found none such today at snoqualmie pass
