WA Cascades West Slopes North (Mt Baker)

North facing, shaded slopes were in surprisingly good shape yesterday. Pretty ideal touring conditions. We did 3 laps on the north side of the Pinnacle on 3ish" of dense, fast powder.
We went out via the south side of Table early in the morning and returned over the Herman saddle at sunset.
Huge pinwheels! This one on the south face of Table wasn't the biggest one we saw:

Wife & I had a hilarious time dodging slow rolling, 4 foot, wet snow pinwheels on the back side of Silver King one spring day. After stopping (several times) to rest our old legs we had to immediately face up hill to see which dance moves to make to avoid getting bowled over. We laughed so hard at the ridiculousness of it that it was hard to dodge 'em fast enough.
