Tim and I did afternoon jaunt up bowl from Yodelin parking lot. Much better snow than expected -- rain crust below gave way to 4-6 inches of reasonably light powder on firm base. No evidence of wind slab or instability. Top layer not super well bonded so will bear watching closely as it gets more loading.
