Another( perhaps the last) in this long series of junuary inversions. Was able to skin to perhaps the 7500 foot mark and then crampons. Great descent on perfect corn all the way down. Not quite shorts weather at the rim but amazing for the date. Lots of people on the route but not the Muir conga line. Met an Olympia group up and down that are TAY ers but didn't get the names.
Yesterday was beautiful one on Mt. St. Helens.

Nice job!  I always miss out on grabbing some big days during these inversions; that four-letter word "work" keeps getting in the way.

Hey! That was us that you were skiing with.  What a great day!  Here is a shot of your friend coming down that drainage.

That pole plant-to-be leaves me speechless . . .
