Willy and I climbed and skied the old chute yesterday. It was a very cold day, but the snow was in very nice condition. There is some firm, heavily rimed snow that covers much of the West Crater, but the East side is soft and smooth. The White River Headwall was nice and chalky and the Palmer offered plenty of low angle hippie pow.
