1/1/2013, Pineapple Pass

Yesterday met up with Silas and Eric? (Sorry forgot the name again, had lack of sleep) Drove up from Issaquah Transit Center, and were deciding on what to tour. As we hit exit 48ish the clouds socked in and it was yet again the norm for Snoqualmie Pass.  We thought about doing Humpback, but it turned out to be windy when we were parking so we headed up to the Summit at Snoqualmie as they have a killer softshell pant special going on for 20 bucks and Silas demanded I buy a pair (I did x2). From there, Silas got singled out by the instructors and was asked to work, so Eric? and I headed out to do something, I figured Pineapple Pass would be out of the wind and we could get a fun lift assist in with it.

Headed up to Armstrong chair peaked out of the sun at top of chair and the temps warmed up from about 20 to 35~, then to Chair 2 and from there took the LT over to Pineapple Pass to Great Scott bowl (Always think of Star Trek when I say that). From there we skinned up, took some pics and skied down to the bottom of the bowl, skinned back up and then headed out back to Alpy parking lot. I took a few tumbles as the bowl is tracked out really bad, but enjoyed myself none the less.
