After yesterday's powder binge on Kendall, Becky and I decided to head back up to Snoqualmie Pass and get in a bit more touring.
Headed towards the north slope notch on Chair Pk with no particular tour in mind.   The sun was out and rapidly warming anything getting morning light....I would imagine that there's gonna be a lot of sun crust out there by tomorrow.
The north slope of Chair was heavily wind affected...we'd occasionally find a handful of turns on a protected NE facing aspect, but most of the upper slope was a mix of soft and firm windslab.   We headed straight down and connected in to the prominent couloir that breaches the cliffs midway across Snow Lake...it was a fun line that we hadn't skied before but unfortunately it was nearly as wind affected as the upper slopes.
Back across to Snow Lake divide for a little more skiing above Source Lake...lots of great snow out there, just avoid the stuff that could've gotten sun today and a hammering by recent wind.
