December 29 2012 - Bombing the Coquihalla
« on: 12/29/12, 09:54 PM »

WOW 15 days in a row went pretty fast. Still a few more days to get after it but it has been a great few weeks. The snow has been nothing short of spectacular and stablity? Well those who have been skiing know it is one of those years that we are venturing into those rare areas.

We grabbed some insipiration from these guys The Yaar Traverse and heading once again to the Coquihalla. We had hoped to ski in a new area and after a brief stop at the rest area and seeing the whole Vancouver splitboard nation heading for Needle Peak we hoped no one had the same idea as us to hit Bombtram Mountain.

It was a hard day for pictures as we had to move quickly to get our objectives met.

After 1100m of climbing we arrived at our destination.

It was an eventful descent with great snow and amazing stability.
