A quick post on our day trip to Heather Meadows:
NWAC has been reporting stable snow conditions with the the favorable conditions of having the snowpack get denser with depth and no significant weak layers. We did not dig a full pit but sampling the snow down about 2 feet I found a consistant snowpack. Didnt see or hear any activity. Super fun conditions. Ive never been to Heather Meadows. Most of it is pretty shallow tree skiing with some open areas. If you look around you can find some steep section with some fun natural features / drops.
