Skied the north and south sides of Castle Peak on Sunday.  The snow was extremely consistent and a great first day on my new setup.  A big thanks to TAY member Iain for a solid hookup on the Zealots.  Who knew an earlier rise tip and 110mm under foot could change your life!?!?!?!  I digress.  We dug a pit on the south side down approximately five feet.  The snow was so consistent we skipped the CT and had at it.  Even with the super flat light, we could let'em ride due to the predictable snow.  Joy-O-Meter pegged.   A Burger at the Buck Snort in Morton topped off a great first tour of the season.  My cheap point and shoot doesn't do the day justice, but here's a few pics nonetheless:

There is a snow boarder in the middle of that last picture.  Pow!
