December 15,16,18, 2012, Revelstoke Sidecountry

Did some touring around the ski hill. On the 15th and 16th I was lapping "lovers lane" and "birthday chute" above Greely Bowl. 40-50cm of uber pow overlaid a well settled midpack making for over the head blower within the guts of the chutes that had been loaded by sluffing. On the 18th we did some exploring out past South Bowl into the cat skiing area. By the 18th the wind along with some settling had decreased ski pen and I only managed a few face shots ):

My impression on the area is that the zone above and behind Greely Bowl offers far more then the zone beyond south bowl when conditions are moderate to high with a longer fall line, lack of clueless people, and lack of tracks.
