Unexpectedly nice skiing today. We were anticipating mostly doing some touring, but skiing conditions on the backside were just delightful. Though tracked out in places, there was still 8-12" of pretty light powder and lots of smiles. Dry snow fell lightly through the morning and afternoon, picking up later in the afternoon. There are still a couple of somewhat shady creek crossings, but it's reasonable to get over them all.
