A buddy and I skipped work to ski Norse yesterday. What a good call! It was probably the best day of touring we've had this sorrowful season. There was great coverage from top to bottom, with 6"+ of freshies up high and a bluebird sky all day. There is a considerable amount of hoar frost/faceted snow on the surface nearly everywhere we went above 5,000', which made for great skiing. But, be careful if you head up there this weekend after it snows.
I've been wondering what the coverage was like over on that ridge. Thanks for the report.
