Didn't quite make the summit.  Ran out of time near the ridge at an elevation of about 6250'.  Got to try out my headlamp.

Noticed a variety of wind affected top layers up to 5" thick on south and southeast aspects.  Little micro slabs breaking loose local to my skis.  Didn't hear whoomphing and didn't see any significant crack propagation.  Still, got my attention.

I used the road and the trail to get above 3500' where things opened up.  No hiking, no bushwhacking.

On the down, the top had enough of a wind affected layer to make turns tricky.  In the middle found some nice snow.  Near the bottom I wished I had my friend's rockered skis, very heavy snow, ugly turns.
