December 8, 2012, Skyline Lake-PCT tour. ugh

I first want to start this off with a huge thank you to whoever cut that trail up towards Skyline Lake.  You are real men/women.  That must have been brutal! Virtual beer for you.  I went on my first long tour in some... THE deepest and driest snow I have ever skied. We followed the skin track up towards skyline lake and down the north side along with a hand full of others.  Our plan was to connect with the PCT and back to the car.  Well, mission accomplished, though we should have went back up to the top and skied the south side.  It was hours of making a new skin track all the way back to the car.  We must have been the last car in the parking lot.  We arriving with headlamps on and tired muscles around 6pm.  I have a few pics but there have been many better ones posted from that day and area.    The map gives an idea of what we did.  at least a general direction.    I'm beat and ready for another go.
