Anyone been back in there lately? Ranger said that the road is clear to 8 mile trail head, so about 2 miles to Colchuck trailhead. Wonder if there is enough snow to ski Colchuck and Dragon tail?

i don't have any current beta but i've tried to ski colchuk and dragontail last year at the end of april and getting into colchuk lake was miserable: not enough snow to skin, but enough to posthole intolerably...sort of concluded that by the time the road is melted out, it is too late...however, skiing down from aasgard pass was a riot!

From Highway 2 it looks as though there is plenty of snow up there. Snow up high access down low?
