Summit West 12/5 - Night Patrol

Tired of seeing the dawn patrol stuff, so might as well hit the other side.

Got off work at 3, got home by 4:15 from the bus, packed stuff and left house by 4:45. Ran up to summit west to enjoy a bit of "fresh" snow. Hiked up in my skins and goofed off and watched the groomers start their runs. I figured I had 2 options. Try to ski the remaining powder at night where the groomers weren't at, or take my shot on what I thought would be the first official groomed runs of the 2012-13 season. Powder had been had before on this day, so I took my turn on the 'groomers'



With the snow in the forecast, we may have a weekend opening at Snoqualmie.
