Based on reports from friends who were up there yesterday, we went up hoping to find pockets of powder. It seems the wind must have taken some of that powder overnight, but we were happy to be able to skin without crampons on yesterdays tracks, now elevated above the bulletproof, sometimes runnelled coral. We did find a little powder in wind protected areas. Hopefully when the gate opens Thursday, there will be lots of fresh snow from Wednesday's forecasted storm!

Pockets of powder......now that is hopeful thinking........I love that about this crew. So hardcore!!

Cant wait to join you all out in the mountains in the next week or two when I am feeling better. The snow, hopefully, later this week will help the healing process!!
