Parked just below Twin Lakes trailhead -- wanting to avoid getting stuck -- but could have easily driven to within a mile of "Windy Pass" Snow conditions above that point were firm crust with a dusting of new.

Stopped for a nosh at the Blue Aardvark trailer by the Summit Chevron.
