Howdy,
Went to Crystal Mountain Opening day 11/21/2012. We got there about 15 minutes before the lifts started and ended up standing in line while we waited on the Gondola to Ferry everyone up. By 11-ish they had the other lift running by the lodge.
Had some good turns on the upper mountain, great snow, bit bumpy in places with some variable powder but over all really fun. I hadn't skied a resort in a while so the feeling was a bit strange and I had a few crash and burns and lost some skis here and there.
Overall, great day, and fun to know that I get all year this year to get better.

Glad you got out there Brian. I and my family went the next day and skied your tracks and a few stashes that you left for us.....Weather and vis was excellent, and it was a ghost town so even my 9 yr old got 12,000' of vert. Nice to ride the lifts occasionally to get the ski legs back. Now if this warm/wet stuff would just cool down.......!
