Headed up to the pass yesterday to fit in a few quick laps before the weather went South. Found 16" base with 3-4 of fluffy-on-slush on top. Stream crossings were still an issue with some terrain exposed in places, but for the most part so smooth  I almost felt guilty. Almost. A few other like-minded folks on the hill, but other than that had the place to myself. Weather ended up being a non-issue for most of the day, turning into an annoyance at the top of Tye Mill in the late afternoon.

Hopefully the guilt went away. You missed first (and second) tracks, though, over on Skyline. I found similar conditions there at about 8 AM.

I took a quick run up there this morning. The snow was a little slow but it sure was nice to make some turns a little closer to home.

FKNA Bro!

We were also up there. Dod skied on his birthday for the first time ever!
Here's a little video we made: Www.vimeo.com/53878148

Jess, I definitely think I saw you tele-fail crosssing a ditch at the bottom of Tye Mill, why didn't that make the vid? :-p
