November 15, 2012, Zig Zag
« on: 11/15/12, 04:50 PM »

Ron came back again to guide us on the Zig Zag. Along the way we met up with Fred and lost Yoshiko.  Zig Zag skied well but "you shoulda been here yesterday" according to Ron. :-)  Yoshiko made some great turns from the 9900' level and rejoined us for the skiing back to the car from 8300'.

Skiing was still great from 10k down to 8500', due to wind protection. Winds had scoured off most of the Buttery perfection below, from previous day, but was still quite shreddable.
Thanks Ron for allowing us to indulge on your private mountain. And a special thanks to Snoholic for allowing our presence in the new mobile snow home!
