Cross-country skiing, literally

On November 19, Anders Morely will click into his skis at Prince Rupert, B.C. In March or April of next year, he plans to kick off his skis at the St. Lawrence River in Quebec, having completed the first ski crossing of North America. that first part looks the tough following next to the highway...unless of course he will ski right on the highway before the plows come through.

Such a cool trip idea.

I scoped a similar trip across the US and Canada years ago. Traveling East to West and skiing spring and summer snow across the Canadian West seemed a better option.

No skiable snow either:

It's skiable...but you get really bad glide!
