Skied a few laps near Hadley peak yesterday. Approached via Cougar Divide. A few inches along the divide and a few more up higher on permanent snow. This weekend's snow should properly cover up the ice.

Visibility was terrible until hiking out so we never made it over to Hadley peak proper. Amazing views on the drive out, that valley is incredible!

Is there ice on the hiking trail?

There was an inch or two of snow on the trail, but no ice. Still a little slippery in spots on the way back though. If you have yak traks, bring them just in case.
