Skinned the main slope under the quad 3x starting at about 9:30 a.m. in mixed snow showers and sun breaks. Didn't want to test the combo of 2-wheel drive, low clearence and having to work at Alpental today, even though that was probably the correct play for skiing. LOTS of new snow, though very gloppy and dense, as described elsewhere. On run 1 I was able to make some lazy little pow turns, but by 2+3 the sun had further effected things, allowing only a slow-motion straightline. Beautiful up there, great coverage, good exercise.
