Waterhole Cabin- destroyed by ONP

Not sure whether to post under the ONP BS thread or start a new one, but it seemed more appropriate to start a new one, even though it is still BS.

Sometime in September ONP destroyed the Waterhole cabin that had been used for generations.

No word to anyone that I know of.

Really depressing news and a new low for ONP management!  I couldn't get the Waterhole link to work...

This is terrible news.  They had taken out the stove long ago, and were even issuing permits for use without a fee. 
I wonder why they wanted it gone.

Didn't take long for the new superintendent to have an impact.

Prepare yourselves for more of the same; she's a wilderness advocate.

I bet the road guys love her.
