Started hiking at 6pm on Friday night with non skiing buddies. Started skinning solo after 20 minutes of hiking. By the time I got the lower hut of the last lift, I was considering turning around but I saw a groomer coming towards me. Instead of kicking me out, it started grooming the upper part of the snowfield. You can say no to that, so kept going up to the top, where I got 5 minutes before sunset.
Snow was a bit slushy and perfectly groomed, no suncups where I skied :)
BTW, this is my first trip report and my second ski day after I broke my ankle back in March in the parking lot at Paradise with the Mountaineers. Yeah! Hoping to get some turns with more TAYers.

That first picture makes me wish I was sitting at the top of the Palmer right now......nice shot...
It must feel nice to be back on the snow post-injury! All three of those pictures are just gorgeous.
