We made the two hour long walk up the Scott Paul trail and up some moraine. Then we skinned a snow patch west of Crag view to reach continuous skinning around 6900'. Puffy marine clouds seemed to be forming and following us up the Squak.  Despite Amar's assurances, concerns about the 8800' monster crevasse, I was worried so Zack and I stayed below it and crossed to the Easton climbing route at the 8500' level.  Around 8800' the snow became stiffer and my energy flagged, so we skied big turns on great corn from there. The little face above Crag View gave us a few steep turns before the only bumpy snow of the day from 5800' to its end at 5500'.  Back at our tennie runners a short distance further we left the skis and boots for a return trip tomorrow.
