Hiked up to Spray Park on Saturday via the summer trail and camped in the Ptarmigan Ridge backcountry zone. Enjoyed a quick lap on the Flett Glacier before dinner and then got attacked my some of the worst mosquitoes I've ever experienced.

Sunday morning started with dark clouds and a few rain showers but by about 8:30 AM the sun was out and we were working our way up to Russell Glacier. Climbed to a point at about 8,700 ft. before turning around. Turns on the Russell Glacier were surprisingly good. The Flett Glacier was a bit sun cupped but still fun.

Beautiful weekend to be out!

Nice photo. Those mosquitoes are legendary.

Beautiful picture!

Nice trip.
You've help me the remember that the worst bout I ever had with mosquitos was on that trip as well. They seem to be plentiful, healthy, hungry and mean on that side of the mountain.

Thanks for the report! Love that first pic!!
