Skied Mt. Daniel on Saturday; continuous snow from just below the East summit to Peggy's Ponds. Awesome conditions for August, with almost no suncups and soft, rippable snow. Should be good for another week (max); get there early as it was just about perfect when I dropped in at 9:45 AM. The only negatives were horrible mosquitos at Peggy's Pond and the most potholed 10 miles of gravel road I've ever driven. I was solo so only scenics:

Cool photos. The lake in the lower left of the last picture looks like an eyeball.

Eyeball lake - looks like you can ski right to it.

Thanks for update. Looks like its good for another trip for me. I love that ski.
