On the seventh day I should have rested but luckily the kids pulled me up one more time to the 8400' rock island on the paradise glacier. Excellent slushy 1" smooth corn on east facing slopes above 7000', quite good on Southeast slopes too. Skiing below Sluskin's chair now requires a few carries, at least for me.

What a week!  Only 10-15 minutes hike to and from soft snow each day, BBQ parties every night, interesting ranger talks at Paradise Inn, and fun senior sitters.   Thanks team TLT5P:  Art, Carl, Greg, Jeff, Tara, Zack, and all the other TAY friends, new and old for good times on great lines and apres ski.

Glad I could be there representing the poor old non-TLT5ers. More approach walking every day, but well worth it. My TR on NWH.
