It was a gorgeous day up at Chinook Pass. We headed up around 11:00 a.m. snow was sun cupped and patchy but nicely softened. Spotted a Mt. Goat up above us on the rocks. We continued up the NE bowl, lunched in the heather and alpine veg. on the SW above Dewey Lake and then descended back down NE bowl. Did a couple laps and got surprisingly more turns in than expected. :)

Good to see there's still turns to be had up there.
I'm not sure I've ever recalled skiing there in late July.

Love that first picture with the sun-splash, sun cups, blue sky, skier on horizon... very nice.
