Team tlt5p plus one found continuous snow from fourth crossing, buttery corn to 6000' on the way down, then soft cups.  Nice cheesecake and crown royale snacks along the way to celebrate my final ski day as a 63yo. Then brisket, pulled pork, and turkey BBQ in the parking lot after a brief thunderstorm and temporary loss of dod.

Anvil Rock never saw this coming. Great day until Thor's hammer made us (most of us) make a hasty retreat out of Stevens Canyon. We almost escaped the deluge in time.

You should send this picture to the local Dynafit rep, whoever that may be. Ka-ching!

I went up to Paradise Glacier today and I could see all the Crown Royal tracks coming down the cliffs and across the crevasses!  Maybe send it to Crown Royal rather than Dynafit :-)

Happy birthday Silas! Sounds and looks like a fantastic way to celebrate a birthday. Let me count some of the good parts of that trip; good company, whiskey, food and turns, seems like that's a great start on another year!  Best wishes.

Happy birthday, Silas.  Nice to meet you at the Paradise lot on Friday AM and see the preview
video.  We stuck with our plan and slogged up the Muir route mostly in whiteout with our hiking friend Janet, for a special day for her. Specaily foggy and wet, too.  I'll do a separate TR to avoid hijacking yours.
